What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to help design, develop, test, and support software used across their machinery manufacturing operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions and support end users as needed.
- Design, write, test, and document new and modified software programs
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues in production and pre-production environments
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements and communicate engineering data
- Provide business support and end-user training for deployed applications
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and participate in project reviews
- Support software asset management activities including maintenance contracts
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and comply with ISO quality management practices
- Learn and grow technical skills; perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Approximately 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s + internship)
- Strong problem analysis and problem-solving techniques
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills for documentation and end-user support
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and follow quality management processes
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (USD): $74,625.00 - $114,425.00 per year, plus any applicable bonus. Actual pay will vary based on experience, skills, and location.
