What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer I you will join an early-career engineering team working on production software that supports our confidential client’s logistics and transportation systems. You will receive mentorship, contribute to design and implementation, and help maintain high-quality releases.

• Learn and participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) with guidance from senior engineers
• Implement designs and produce clean, maintainable code focused on performance and user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and user-reported issues, collaborating with peers and product stakeholders
• Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD processes to deliver reliable releases
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code and operational processes
• Participate in analysis and design discussions; escalate and surface risks early

What We’re Looking For

Minimum qualifications (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
• Academic or project experience demonstrating understanding of software development lifecycle and team-based delivery
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts (Java preferred)
• Exposure to web technologies (JavaScript or TypeScript) and relational data layers (SQL)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java and modern web frameworks (class projects, internships, or open-source)
• Experience or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git)
• Internship experience with the Confidential Client preferred
• Motivation to grow technical skills and contribute to production systems

Compensation factors

• Starting pay will be determined based on skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications. Eligible roles may also participate in annual bonus or incentive programs per plan terms.
