Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer I to join a Factory Platform team focused on automating and scaling manufacturing and test workflows. You’ll build web applications, data pipelines, and tools that give engineers and operators real-time visibility into production and test systems. This is an early‑career/full‑stack role that combines front‑end, back‑end, and data work in a fast‑moving engineering environment.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver full‑stack features: responsive UIs, robust back‑end services, and data integrations
• Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards that process telemetry and test data
• Work closely with design, manufacturing, test, and supply chain teams to understand needs and iterate quickly
• Write clean, testable code and participate in CI/CD, code reviews, and agile development practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize systems for performance and reliability

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering field, OR equivalent experience
• 1+ years of professional software development experience (including internships, co‑ops, or shipped academic/personal projects)
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, systems thinking, and software testing
• Experience building web applications with modern frameworks and languages
• Comfortable working across front‑end, back‑end, and data layers
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and collaborate directly with engineers and operators on the factory floor

Nice to Have

• Experience with React or similar front‑end frameworks
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and processing large datasets
• Exposure to manufacturing, hardware, test & measurement systems, or physical‑world domains
• Experience building dashboards, visualizations, or analytics products
• Contributions to open‑source projects or experience shipping end‑to‑end software products

Compensation & Benefits

• Hiring Range: $115,000—$173,000 USD (salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors)

Location & Work Authorization

• This position is based in Long Beach, CA. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for this role.
