What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to join a global engineering team building cloud-native, AI-enabled, and full‑stack solutions. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates within two years of graduation who want hands‑on experience across the software development lifecycle.
- Build, modify, test and maintain high-quality software following coding standards and technical designs.
- Contribute to full-stack features using modern web and cloud technologies.
- Work with AWS services, APIs, databases, telemetry/logging platforms and distributed system architectures.
- Support cloud service development, integration, deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Create and run automated tests; participate in peer code reviews and CI/CD practices.
- Assist with documenting technical designs, implementation approaches and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams on feature design, scoping and investigations.
- Learn and apply cloud architecture, cybersecurity, DevOps and Agile practices; support iterative delivery.
Who You Are / Qualifications
Minimum requirements (must not be discriminatory; objective and job-related):
- BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Entry-level: within 2 years of completing highest degree (Bachelor, Master, PhD, MBA, or JD) for U.S. Early Careers eligibility.
- Practical exposure to software development via internships, co‑ops, academic projects or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AWS services, RESTful APIs, databases, logging/telemetry and basic distributed-systems concepts.
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering, agent design patterns, or AI-driven decisioning systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with automated testing, version control (Git), and code review workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on global teams.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and take guidance from senior engineers.
International student guidance:
- F‑1 visa students must have approved CPT or OPT before the assignment begins; CPT/OPT must relate to the degree and be authorized by the university.
Compensation, Location & Logistics
- Salary range: $82,260 – $100,540 per year (reported range from source). Pay transparency: this role’s posted range is provided to comply with state pay-notice rules.
- Job location: Clifford / Columbus area, Indiana (primary work location). Role is listed with flexibility for remote work and may be hybrid — expect some on-site collaboration.
- Relocation assistance: Yes (per source).
- Employment type: Full‑time, exempt — entry level.
- Start date (estimated): June 1, 2027.
