What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, document, and maintain software and supporting tools (parsers, simulators) for medical device products and integrations.
• Write and maintain high-quality source code and unit tests; participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
• Perform software integration activities between software modules and hardware subsystems.
• Develop, document, and execute software unit verification procedures and contribute to software verification protocols.
• Maintain and support existing on‑prem and cloud APIs and custom interfaces between products and third‑party applications.
• Create clear technical specifications, user guides, and test documentation for internal and customer-facing projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report progress toward schedule and performance objectives.
• Stay current with software engineering trends through self-study, webinars, and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related engineering/science discipline — or equivalent experience.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python.
• Experience writing unit tests and working through the software development lifecycle (requirements → design → verification → release).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Broomfield, CO; this role does not offer relocation.

Preferred / Helpful Experience

• Prior experience with medical device or regulated software is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cloud APIs and integrations between on‑prem systems and cloud services.
• Experience with software verification/validation in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware/software integration.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $85,000 to $105,000 per year.
• Eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the client’s bonus plan. Final starting salary will consider geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Location & Work Arrangement

• Primary work location: Broomfield, CO.
• Due to on‑site requirements, applicants should reside within reasonable commuting distance. This position does not offer relocation assistance.
• For remote-eligible roles (if applicable in other listings), compensation will comply with federal, state, and local wage laws based on the employee’s primary work location.
