Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer I for our confidential client (Insurance), you will contribute to building, testing, and supporting production software. Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop a strong understanding of relevant product areas, codebases, and systems.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code with good test coverage for straightforward scenarios.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Assist with application/system support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with teammates to identify and remove impediments and help deliver features on schedule.
- Contribute to documentation, deployment pipelines, and automated tests.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience programming in one or more industry-standard languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript).
- Practical knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with relational databases, NoSQL, and caching solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication.
- Ability to work independently on simple tasks and collaborate effectively with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of the Summer 2026 Internship at the confidential client (if applicable).
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern observability tools.

Compensation (Pay Transparency)

- USD $98,568.90 – USD $136,901.25 per year.
