Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software used by customers in the building and construction industry as part of a cross-functional agile team. This role is appropriate for early-career engineers or recent graduates seeking hands-on mentorship and growth.

  • Write, test, and debug software under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of applications and services
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and requirements reviews
  • Refactor existing code to improve maintainability, performance, and reliability
  • Create and maintain unit tests for assigned work
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and other teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Follow established coding standards and software engineering practices
  • Support agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
  • Seek feedback and mentorship to grow technical and professional skills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of software development experience (internships, co-ops, academic projects, or related experience acceptable)
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable code and basic unit tests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of programming fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures
  • Familiarity with object-oriented languages such as C#, Java, or C++
  • Exposure to source control systems (Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with unit testing concepts and test-driven development practices
  • Interest in cloud technologies and modern development practices
  • Experience or interest in domain-specific software for the building/construction industry

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay: $90,000–$110,000 per year (in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements). Final base pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Hybrid schedule based out of an office in Greenwood Village, CO. Candidates should be willing to work on-site as required by the team.
