Overview

Confidential Client is seeking Software Engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions that support mission-critical systems. This opportunity is well suited to early- to mid-career engineers who want to grow technically while contributing to high-impact projects in the defense and intelligence space.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and services
• Collaborate with teammates to define requirements and implement robust solutions
• Maintain and enhance existing systems for performance, reliability, and security
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and documentation
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in production and development environments

Core Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 0–7 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C++, etc.)
• Familiarity with Linux-based development and toolchains
• Practical understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with containers (Docker) or CI/CD pipelines
• Agile development experience and modern tooling

Clearance & Other Requirements

• Clearance required: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Must be a U.S. Citizen — this is a government-cleared role and requires continuous eligibility for access to classified information

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range (typical for this role): $130,000 – $250,000 (USD)
