What You'll Be Owning

Confidential Client is seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join a cleared program team in Chantilly, VA. This role contributes to secure, mission-critical applications across cloud services and field offices in Northern Virginia. Remote work is not supported for this position.

• Provide full-stack software engineering support for cloud-hosted systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain single-page applications using modern frontend frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful services and backend components.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests; participate in CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
• Troubleshoot web and network technologies (web servers, SSL/TLS, proxies).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support rapid prototyping, and implement user-facing features.

What You Must Have

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph (required and must be acceptable to the program).
• Experience developing single-page applications with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, TypeScript, and Angular 18+.
• Experience developing RESTful services using Java 17+ and Spring Framework 6+.
• Experience with non-relational data stores (for example, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity troubleshooting web-related protocols and servers (Tomcat, Node.js, web services, SSL/TLS).
• Experience developing automated tests (JUnit, Jasmine) and using test runners such as Jest or Karma.
• Experience with DevOps tools and workflows (Git, Jenkins, Nexus or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical field is expected.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Spring Security.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or equivalent ServiceNow training.
• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Experience with websockets and real-time UI patterns.
• Experience building UIs with Angular Material.
• Background in Lean/Agile environments, rapid prototyping, and frequent user interaction.
• Familiarity with legacy front-end toolkits (AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery).
• Scripting experience (Shell, Perl, Python) for automation.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Experience creating and maintaining Jira tickets and communicating with senior customers.

Virginia Pay Range:

• $150,000 — $250,000 USD (range reflects factors such as location, experience, and contract wage categories)
