Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a motivated Software Engineer — Full Stack & AI Developer (Level 2) to join a cross-functional team focused on digital thread transformation, AI initiatives, and model-based systems engineering tools. This is an on-site role in Chandler, AZ that contributes to web application development, AI integration, and DevOps pipeline automation for mission-critical systems.


What You’ll Do

  • Work in a collaborative Agile environment with engineers, systems teams, and stakeholders to define and deliver application features that support launch systems and digital transformation.
  • Design, implement, test, and maintain web applications that integrate AI models, data pipelines, and model-based engineering tools.
  • Build and maintain DevOps pipelines, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure to support rapid, reliable deployments.
  • Contribute to story, epic, and task creation, refinement, implementation, and test activities.
  • Participate in peer reviews, pair programming, and continuous process improvement for architecture and team workflows.
  • Support AI integration and deployment, including APIs and model serving for production use.
  • Help shape web-app architecture, microservices design, and containerization strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field plus 2 years of professional experience, OR a Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to work onsite at the Chandler, AZ facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing on Agile teams and contributing to DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).
  • Python experience and familiarity with Django.
  • Experience with relational databases and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with containerization, data pipelines, and observability tooling.
  • Prior work integrating ML models, agents, or AI APIs into production applications.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00 per year.
  • Confidential Client considers multiple factors when making offers, including role scope, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
  • Eligible employees may receive benefits including health insurance, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and discretionary bonuses depending on position.

  • Travel: up to ~10% (as needed).
  • Relocation assistance: not available for this posting.
