You'll work across web and mobile experiences to deliver polished, high-performance interfaces that help organizations understand and respond to events in real time.

What You’ll Do

As a Frontend Engineer you will:

  • Build and own major parts of the web and mobile product surface from architecture through production.
  • Design interfaces that make operational workflows intuitive, reliable, and fast under pressure.
  • Translate ambitious designs into production-quality React/TypeScript components and systems.
  • Collaborate with backend, infrastructure, ML, hardware, and design teams to launch new capabilities.
  • Implement real-time experiences (maps, live video, alerts, incidents, communications, automation).
  • Shape frontend architecture, component libraries, performance standards, and best practices.
  • Set the quality bar and mentor peers as the team grows.
  • Talk directly with customers and incorporate field feedback into product decisions.

Qualifications

You’re a strong fit if you have:

  • 2+ years building modern web applications and user-facing products.
  • Strong experience with React and TypeScript and modern frontend patterns.
  • A track record of shipping polished products with attention to performance and usability.
  • Experience owning large frontend systems (not just isolated features).
  • Strong product intuition and ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs independently.
  • Experience working closely with designers and implementing detailed UI interactions.
  • Familiarity with real-time systems, data visualization, mapping, or operational software is a plus.
  • Experience with React Native or mobile app development is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and comfort engaging with customers when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $130,000 – $225,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.
  • Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
  • Confidential Client offers equity and benefits; details will be provided during the interview process.
