About the Role

Our confidential client is hiring a Software Engineer, Developer Success to help build tools and integrations that make it easier for game developers to harness platform features. You’ll work on product-facing systems across apps, portals, APIs, real-time infrastructure, and SDKs used by developers and millions of end users. This role is a great fit if you enjoy shipping high-quality code, collaborating cross-functionally, and engaging directly with developer partners.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building features that improve the developer experience across apps, developer portals, APIs, realtime infrastructure, and Social SDKs.
  • Writing, reviewing, and shipping elegant, scalable code with a strong emphasis on quality.
  • Owning projects end-to-end: design, implementation, launch, and post-launch improvements.
  • Partnering with developer relations and partner teams; acting as a technical resource in partner meetings.
  • Collaborating with product managers and designers to move through ambiguity to pragmatic solutions.
  • Using attention to detail to raise the quality bar for the software you help build.

What You Should Have

  • 1–3 years of experience as a software engineer (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Hands-on experience with game development or strong familiarity with game-engine workflows.
  • Proficiency in C++ and TypeScript, and the ability to learn new languages and systems quickly.
  • Product and design sensibility — comfortable collaborating across disciplines and sharing opinions.
  • Growth mindset: you dig into unfamiliar code, ask for help, iterate on feedback, and learn from mistakes.
  • Experience leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate development and productivity.

Nice to Have

  • Mobile development experience.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine and/or Unity.
  • Familiarity with C#, Elixir, or Rust.

Compensation & Benefits

  • US base salary range: $160,000 to $180,000 per year, plus equity and benefits. This range represents base salary only; final pay is based on role, level, skills, and experience.
