What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, test, and maintain server-side applications and RESTful APIs primarily using Java and Spring.
• Build and maintain front-end components with Angular and collaborate with UI/UX engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Integrate with databases and services; write and optimize queries as needed.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation with GitLab.
• Work onsite in Dayton, OH (5 days per week) and follow facility security protocols; assist with the security clearance process as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience writing Java applications using Spring framework.
• Practical experience building web applications using Angular.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance (clearance not required to start).
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (Confidential Client will not sponsor work visas for this role).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Golang, PL/SQL, or C# .NET.
• Familiarity with other modern web frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience with ArangoDB or other multi-model databases.
• DevOps experience: CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitLab.
• Strong testing, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr (range provided by Confidential Client; actual compensation depends on skills and experience).

Work Location & Schedule

• Onsite — Dayton, OH. This role requires working onsite five days per week at the client facility.
