Preferred Qualifications
These skills are desirable and will help you be successful in the role:
- Experience contributing to or extending LLVM, Clang, GCC, GDB, or LLDB (writing custom LLVM passes, backend changes, or diagnostics).
- Deep knowledge of DWARF, ELF/object file formats, linkers, and binary utilities.
- Experience building automated regression test frameworks and performance benchmarks with Python and shell tooling in CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in cross-compiling and packaging toolchains for embedded Linux, RTOS, or large-scale networking OS environments.
- Open-source collaboration experience and strong software engineering practices (code review, testing, documentation).
Why Join the Team
You will join a team responsible for mission-critical toolchains that directly impact device performance, reliability, and developer velocity across the product portfolio. The role provides high technical visibility, opportunities to contribute to open-source projects, and the chance to influence systems used at scale.
