What You’ll Do
- Own cloud applications from architecture and deployment through backend development, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS).
- Build backend services and REST APIs using Python.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases to design schemas and optimize queries.
- Implement security, monitoring, and observability best practices (logging, metrics, tracing).
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver reliable fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to scope, estimate, and deliver solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS).
- Proven Python development experience building backend services and REST APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and at least one NoSQL database.
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance-optimization skills.
- Clear communication and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
- Experience with machine learning infrastructure or model deployment.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Front-end experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience with C++ for performance-sensitive components.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $150,000 – $180,000 per year (the posted range reflects our good-faith estimate of the range for this role).

- Paid time off for salaried personnel; hourly employees receive leave as required by law.
- Note: Actual pay is based on factors such as education, experience, location, and business needs.
