What You’ll Do

Confidential Client (Financial Services) is hiring a Software Engineer to build reliable, scalable payments and reporting features used by customers daily. You will partner with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software that improves merchant and partner workflows.

• Develop features and enhancements across payments, dashboards, and customer portals
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and launch
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript/Node code and follow engineering best practices
• Work with product and design to ensure solutions match customer needs
• Troubleshoot production issues and help improve system reliability
• Contribute to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and shared engineering standards

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional software engineering experience (customer-facing products preferred)
• Proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js
• Familiarity with Go, Rust, or Python is a plus
• Comfortable with modern development workflows: code review, CI/CD, testing
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; proactive and eager to learn
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: $130,000 - $150,000 USD (or local equivalent)
