What You’ll Do

This role supports a confidential client building and maintaining analytics and operational systems that collect, analyze, and present mission-critical data. You will work in an Agile environment across the full software development lifecycle to improve data integrity, system performance, and usability.

• Manage full lifecycle software development: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance in an Agile team
• Build single-page applications using modern front-end frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, Angular 21+)
• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Scala, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Security
• Work with search and indexing technologies (Solr, Elastic) and relational databases (Postgres, RDS)
• Integrate and maintain non-relational data stores (DynamoDB or similar)
• Create and maintain automated tests (JUnit, Jasmine; testing platforms such as Jest or Karma)
• Troubleshoot web and internet protocols and middleware (Tomcat, Node.js, SSL, Web Services)
• Participate in design reviews, program meetings, and cross-team coordination
• Use DevOps toolchains for CI/CD and artifact management (Git, Jenkins, Nexus)
• Contribute to cloud deployments and operations (AWS and/or Azure preferred)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 14 years’ experience, Master’s + 12 years, or PhD/JD + 9 years of relevant experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
• Proven experience building single-page applications with HTML5, CSS3, and Angular (21+)
• Production experience developing applications and RESTful services using Java/Scala and Spring ecosystem
• Experience with search platforms and relational databases (Solr, Elastic, Postgres)
• Experience working with non-relational databases (DynamoDB or equivalent)
• Familiarity troubleshooting web servers and protocols (Tomcat, Node.js, SSL)
• Experience writing unit and integration tests (JUnit, Jasmine, Jest, or Karma)
• Experience using Git, Jenkins, Nexus, and other DevOps tools

Preferred / Desired

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services
• Prior experience on classified or defense-related systems
• Familiarity with data integrity, ETL, or analytics-focused architectures

Location & Clearance

• Job location: Chantilly, VA (on-site)
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph required — candidates must already hold this clearance to be considered

Compensation

• Target salary range (estimate): $200,001 - $240,000 — actual pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and local law.
• The salary range is provided consistent with pay transparency practices.
