What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and optimize advanced algorithms for next-generation sensor systems and performance-critical applications.
• Engineer high-performance backend systems for scientific computing and distributed environments.
• Integrate, refactor, and optimize scientific codebases for scalability and maintainability.
• Translate and enhance existing code for GPU/CUDA acceleration and parallel/distributed execution.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with 6+ years of backend software development experience — OR a Master’s degree with 4+ years.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Demonstrated expertise in C/C++ backend software development for performance-critical systems.
• Proven experience with high-performance computing, parallel/distributed processing, and standards such as MPI.
• Hands-on GPU/CUDA programming and performance optimization experience.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix development and strong software engineering principles.
