What You’ll Do

This is a backend-focused Full Stack / Software Engineer role on a small, high-performing engineering team at a rapidly scaling SaaS company building AI-driven accessibility tools for direct-to-consumer brands. You will design, build, and scale systems that analyze accessibility, automate remediation, and deliver customer-facing features.

• Build and maintain backend systems that power accessibility analysis and automated remediation workflows
• Develop and improve AI-driven systems and agentic architectures
• Architect cloud infrastructure and platform integrations to support new product capabilities
• Deliver features across the full stack, improving customer-facing applications and APIs
• Monitor, profile, and improve performance, reliability, and scalability of distributed systems
• Improve observability and identify / remove bottlenecks across services

Who We’re Looking For

The confidential client seeks practical, delivery-oriented engineers who enjoy building robust backend systems while contributing across the stack.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerized environments (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with browser automation or headless browser tools (Playwright preferred)
• Comfortable working in a startup, high-growth environment and collaborating with technical leadership

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year (range provided by confidential client)

Work Location & Schedule

• Hybrid role based in Boston, MA — onsite approximately 3 days per week
• This position requires the ability to work from the Boston area as needed for collaboration and team activities
