What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable software used by internal and external customers. You’ll work on cross-functional teams to ship high-quality features, ensure strong system performance, and support continuous product improvement.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and services.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and development issues.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Produce and keep technical documentation up to date.

Minimum Qualifications

We encourage applicants who meet most of these requirements and who are excited to learn and grow on the job.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or C++.
• Experience with relational or document databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred

• Experience integrating third-party RESTful APIs or cloud services.
• Familiarity with performance tuning, caching strategies, and security best practices.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with full-stack development or modern JavaScript frameworks.
