Software Engineer (AWS, Azure)
The Software Engineer at Confidential Client will develop and maintain user-facing features for the compliance agent platform using Golang, React, and cloud technologies. This role involves end-to-end ownership of features, collaboration across multiple teams, integration of third-party tools, and contributing to scalable, reliable services on AWS and Kubernetes. The position supports engineering quality through mentoring, code reviews, and responsible use of generative AI, within a remote-first, hybrid work environment.

What You’ll Do
This is a cloud-focused Software Engineer role working with AWS and Azure technologies for a confidential client. You'll design, build, and operate cloud-native services and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure software.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications on AWS and Azure
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation using IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other engineers to deliver features end-to-end
- Write clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Help define and drive best practices for security, deployment, observability, and cost management
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following baseline requirements:
- Proven experience working with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Professional experience in software development (languages and frameworks can vary)
- Experience integrating applications with cloud services (storage, databases, messaging)
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tooling
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate may also have:
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation
- Experience operating production services and observability tooling
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed system design
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
