Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking a mid-senior level Software Engineer focused on automation, systems integrations, and AI-driven workflow improvements. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity to design and build integrations and automation solutions that streamline operations across business systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop custom software solutions and business applications to solve operational problems.
• Build and maintain integrations between platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Buildertrend, QuickBooks, and other business systems.
• Create automation tools and workflows that reduce manual effort and increase productivity.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
• Produce clear documentation and follow code quality and testing standards.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize existing applications and integrations.
• Collaborate with project managers, leadership, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages (JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, or similar).
• Practical experience with APIs, system integrations, and automation platforms.
• Familiarity with databases, cloud platforms, and software architecture patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce development or integrations.
• Experience with AI, automation, and workflow optimization tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or AWS.
• Prior experience working with remote, cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Buildertrend or QuickBooks integrations is a plus.
