Software Engineer
Confidential Client is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and optimize their PATH platform, a high-throughput system processing over 1 million signals daily for real-time publisher monetization. The role involves building and shipping microservices, designing AI-driven automation workflows, and continuously improving platform performance within an agile, AI-first engineering team based in Austin, TX. This position offers direct impact on revenue through ownership of scalable, production-grade software systems.

What You’ll Do
- Build and evolve high-throughput scoring services that rank and optimize offer selection and placement in real time.
- Architect, prototype, and ship new microservices from concept to production in a fast, iterative environment.
- Design and implement agentic automation flows that replace manual operational work with intelligent, self-directing pipelines.
- Optimize platform performance with a focus on latency, throughput, and measurable revenue impact.
- Work across the full stack on AWS (EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, Athena, S3) and collaborate with infrastructure to manage Terraform/Atlantis and ArgoCD deployments.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining systems thinking and engineering judgment.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 1–3 years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals — you write clean, shippable, and well-tested code.
- Experience with Go or TypeScript; Python familiarity is a plus.
- Comfortable working in AWS cloud environments and microservices architectures.
- Practical experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) and agentic workflows.
- Proven ability to ship to production quickly and iterate based on measurable results.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, outcome-driven mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000–$120,000 base (dependent on experience).
- Quarterly bonus tied to company performance.
