What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a motivated Software Engineer Associate to join their engineering team in Tiburon, CA. You will work on client-facing projects that range in size and complexity, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

• Work in a collaborative, team-centric environment using Agile principles
• Deliver maintainable, tested code across front-end and back-end stacks
• Collaborate with teammates to define solutions where requirements may be ambiguous
• Participate in code reviews and contribute constructive feedback
• Write unit and integration tests and help maintain CI/CD practices
• Learn quickly from mentorship and on-the-job experience across varied tech environments

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in one or more languages/frameworks listed: C#, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Python, CSS
• Comfortable working in Agile/scrum teams
• U.S. work authorization required without employer sponsorship

Nice-to-Have / Helpful Experience

• Familiarity with full-stack development patterns
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Internship or previous client-project experience

Location & Work Arrangement

• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiburon, CA. Candidates should be willing to work full-time from the Tiburon office (commute or ferry from San Francisco is common).

Compensation & Benefits

• Reasonable target base salary range for this role (California): $75,000 - $83,000 (base). Actual compensation will vary based on experience and other factors.
• Benefits package may include medical, dental, vision, performance bonuses, and a 401(k) match.
• Paid time off — up to three weeks in the first year — plus a culture that supports work-life balance.
