What You’ll Do
Our confidential client — an Annapolis-based engineering team in the Telecommunications industry — seeks software engineers and mobile developers who enjoy learning, solving real problems, and shipping production software.
- Work on mobile, web, connected-device, and enterprise projects: design, implement, test, and support production systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, QA, security, and client stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design discussions, agile development, documentation, and customer-facing technical conversations.
- Contribute to code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and shared engineering practices.
- Learn new technologies, propose improvements, and help the team evolve development processes.
What We’re Looking For
We value technical fundamentals, clear communication, and practical problem solving. Strong candidates typically demonstrate:
- Solid software fundamentals: object-oriented design, maintainable code, and thoughtful architecture.
- Experience with one or more: Kotlin, Swift, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, React Native, C#, C++, or Python.
- Familiarity with Git, agile workflows (e.g., Jira), CI/CD, and standard SDLC practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality, experiment responsibly, and communicate trade-offs to teammates and customers.
Valued / Preferred Skills
- Experience building mobile apps or connected-device software.
- Hands-on familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD tools.
- Comfortable working in small teams and taking shared ownership of deliverables.
- Prior client-facing or consulting experience is a plus but not required.
