What You’ll Do
This full-time Software Engineer role partners with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable software solutions that meet business needs for a confidential client in the chemical and food & beverage manufacturing sector. You’ll work on moderately complex features, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement new features and enhance existing systems
- Build and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software quality
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers
- Use internal deployment platforms and automation tools to deliver reliable releases (CI/CD)
- Troubleshoot and debug moderately complex production issues and provide technical support
- Draft and maintain documentation for applications, deployments, and system configurations
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase development efficiency and reliability
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional software engineering experience (typical hires have ~3+ years)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience writing unit and integration tests, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with software deployment automation and CI/CD practices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; experience working with cross-functional teams
- Commitment to writing maintainable, well-documented code and participating in peer reviews
Nice-to-Haves / Preferred
- Practical experience with modern version control workflows (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or deployment tooling used in CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to performance tuning, monitoring, or observability tools
- Experience in regulated or manufacturing environments is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $80,000–$110,000 (range provided by the confidential client). Final pay will depend on factors such as experience, location, and qualifications.
- Position is eligible for discretionary incentive awards tied to organizational and individual performance.
