This hybrid, on-site role works with business-aligned teams to design, build, deploy, and support AI agents and automations — starting on Oracle AI Agent Studio for Oracle Fusion applications and expanding to other platforms over time.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, test, and deploy AI agents and automations (starting with Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications).
  • Integrate agents with enterprise systems and data using REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud, and secure authentication (OAuth 2.0).
  • Write and refine prompts, agent instructions, and tool definitions to improve reliability and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and act as an escalation point; identify root causes and implement fixes with senior engineering guidance.
  • Monitor agent performance and usage; measure the value delivered and recommend improvements.
  • Follow responsible AI, security, and governance standards (human approval steps, auditability, data protection).
  • Document solutions, support procedures, and reusable patterns for team adoption.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3 years of software development or automation experience (internships, co-ops, or substantial academic/personal projects count).
  • Working knowledge of the Oracle technology stack: Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, Oracle Integration Cloud, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Foundational understanding of generative AI and agentic concepts (LLMs, prompt design, retrieval/grounding, tool/function calling).
  • Programming or scripting experience in at least one language such as Python, SQL, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and common authentication methods (OAuth 2.0).
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and curiosity to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working directly with business partners.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with agent interoperability standards (e.g., Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent A2A).
  • Certifications such as Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications Foundations Associate or relevant Microsoft/Oracle AI certifications.
  • Prior experience supporting production automations or agentic solutions.
  • Exposure to Microsoft AI platforms or other AI/ML platforms beyond Oracle.

How You'll Grow

  • Begin by building agents on the Oracle platform with senior engineers and business teams.
  • Expand cross-platform experience (Microsoft and other AI platforms).

  • Advance along the Software Engineering career path at Confidential Client with increasing ownership of agentic automation projects.
