What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Software Engineer 2 — Mid Market to deliver durable, highly available full‑stack solutions that scale across customers and industries. You will contribute across the stack, drive technical initiatives end-to-end, and help apply AI to real customer problems.

• Drive velocity: accelerate customer, business, and technology outcomes by identifying high-impact opportunities.
• Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure services and front-end experiences.
• Build and own production features from design through release and operational excellence.
• Apply AI thoughtfully — guide applicability, validate model outputs, and integrate AI components into user experiences.
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, data science, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor peers, provide technical leadership, and influence across teams.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

• 2+ years developing systems/software for large-business environments.
• 2+ years designing or contributing to complex distributed systems or business applications.
• Experience building or integrating AI-native applications (1+ years preferred).
• Strong full‑stack experience — able to contribute to front-end and back-end code.
• Prior experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP preferred).
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills; able to work across global teams and time zones.
• Operational excellence mindset: observability, SLAs, reliability, and incident response.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Front-end: React, Angular, or SwiftUI (iOS)
• Back-end: Java, TypeScript, Spring, Express/Node.js
• AI / ML tooling: SageMaker, Vertex, LangChain, LLMs, prompt engineering, Dialogflow, Python
• Cloud: AWS and/or GCP
• Familiarity with evaluation tools for model validation, and understanding trade-offs across model types

Compensation & Benefits

• Expected base pay range for this position (New York): $136,000 - $184,000 per year.
• Position may be eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with Confidential Client’s plans.
• Pay considerations are based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

• Job location: New York, NY (based on authoritative listing).
