How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and maintain software features using modern languages and frameworks for front-end, back-end, or full-stack work.
  • Contribute on Agile teams to design, code, test, and deliver applications following engineering best practices.
  • Apply emerging technologies (generative AI tools, cloud platforms, automation, DevOps) as appropriate to project goals.
  • Build and integrate APIs, data connections, and services to enable secure, reliable interoperability.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and help improve application and system performance.
  • Work with databases, data models, and queries to support application functionality and basic analytics.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly — validate outputs through code review and testing.
  • Document code, design decisions, and processes to support long-term maintainability.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Foundational software development experience from coursework, internships, research, or personal projects.
  • Experience or coursework in one or more languages: Java, C#, .NET, Python, C++, or JavaScript; strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Foundational experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with REST APIs and integration concepts.
  • Quick learner — ability to pick up new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Strong analytical thinking with clear written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable working in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
  • Understanding of SDLC fundamentals, basic testing practices, and application development principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts or hybrid/multi-cloud environments (coursework or project experience welcome).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation

Confidential Client provides the following reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this role to comply with pay-transparency laws where applicable: $52,200 - $95,700 (annual). Final pay will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and location.
