What You’ll Do
As an Entry Level Software Developer for a confidential client in the IT / Software Development industry, you will join cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deliver software that solves business problems. Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain application features using modern programming languages and frameworks (front-end, back-end, or full-stack).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineers, QA, and product stakeholders to deliver increments of value.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and service components to enable secure system interoperability.
- Write, run, and support debugging and troubleshooting to improve reliability and performance.
- Work with relational databases, write queries, and support basic reporting/analytics needs.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly — validate outputs and follow code-review best practices.
- Document code, designs, and system behavior to support maintainability and handoffs.
- Learn and apply cloud, DevOps, and automation practices as required by projects.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements to be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational software development experience via coursework, internships, research, or personal projects.
- Hands-on experience with one or more languages: Java, C#, .NET, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with REST APIs and integration concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new frameworks, tools, and technologies quickly.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently and without restriction.
Preferred / Helpful Skills
- Experience or coursework with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) or hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Any internship, co-op, or open-source project that demonstrates applied software development experience.
Compensation & Location
- Location: Atlanta, GA (on-site or as defined by the confidential client)
- Estimated base salary range (as provided by the confidential client): $58,000 - $95,700 per year.
- This range is a good-faith estimate and actual pay offered will depend on experience, skills, and other lawful factors.
