Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Software Analyst to join their Phoenix, AZ office (on-site). This role contributes to full-stack application development, supports production systems, and works with business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with .NET/C#, JavaScript, and relational databases, and are excited to learn cloud technologies like Azure.
What You’ll Do
- Participate as a member of a project team across development, testing, and deployment phases
- Collaborate with team members and business partners to gather and clarify requirements
- Design and develop application features and creative solutions based on project needs
- Apply bug fixes, enhancements, and hot fixes to production applications
- Implement and support applications post-deployment and troubleshoot production issues
- Research and recommend new development technologies, tools, and practices
- Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or a related field
- 0–2 years of professional development experience; internships or co-op experience welcome
- Familiarity with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer-service oriented
- Self-starter who performs well with limited supervision and in team settings
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
Preferred Technical Experience
- Full-stack web development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SQL
- Backend development with .NET and C#
- RESTful API development and common patterns (MVC)
- JavaScript libraries and frameworks: jQuery, Kendo UI, Angular, React, or Vue
- Relational database design (Microsoft SQL Server); familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB) is a plus
- Cloud development experience on Azure
- Responsive design using Bootstrap and other modern web patterns
