What You’ll Do

You’ll create and publish engaging multimedia content and support day-to-day social storytelling across the client’s social channels. Working with Marketing and PR stakeholders, you’ll capture mission-driven moments, highlight retail/donation initiatives, coordinate creator partnerships, and help grow audience engagement through consistent, on-brand content.


Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and schedule visual and written content (short-form video, graphics, photos, captions) across all primary social platforms.
  • Monitor social channels; respond to routine comments/messages in a timely, on-brand voice and escalate sensitive inquiries to management.
  • Assist with drafting and monitoring responses on local review platforms (Google, Yelp).
  • Partner with field teams to gather content, capture client success stories, and promote store initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics for creators/influencers: product sourcing, outreach tracking, scheduling.
  • Collect and organize photo, video, and written assets for internal/external storytelling and newsletters.
  • Track baseline KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth) and prepare monthly snapshot reports.
  • Support marketing events, community activations, and general administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as directed to support organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Experience managing social media accounts or producing digital content (internship/freelance acceptable).
  • Familiarity with multi-platform posting tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, HubSpot).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
  • Basic graphic design and mobile video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar).
  • Strong written communication, storytelling, and copy-editing skills.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; Confidential Client does not offer visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-Have / Tools

  • Hands-on with short-form video workflows and mobile editing apps.
  • Experience tracking social KPIs and creating monthly performance snapshots.
  • Comfortable coordinating creator/influencer logistics and partner outreach.

  • Maintain consistent publishing cadence and an up-to-date content calendar.
  • Timely community engagement and escalation of customer-service issues.
  • Identify and develop client success stories for reuse across channels.
  • Increase audience engagement and follower reach across primary platforms.
  • Provide reliable marketing support to cross-functional stakeholders.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily computer-based work; ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach.
  • May lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs while capturing or transporting content.
  • Ability to travel locally to retail and program locations as required.

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Estimated pay: $33,096 per year (estimated).
  • Employment type: Contract / Full-time (per source).
  • Location: Spring Valley, TX (work will include in-person visits to assigned client locations).
