Role overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Social Content Production Specialist to join their MarCom & Video Sales team in El Segundo, CA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on day-to-day social content shooting and production (photo + short-form video), on-site support for small-to-mid size projects, and centralized management of company shooting equipment. The role provides dotted-line support to Social Operations and Content Commerce as needed.
- This position requires daily in-office presence in El Segundo, CA.
- Fluency in English and Chinese is required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot and produce social media content — photos and short-form video across portrait, product, and event scenarios.
- Plan and execute small-to-mid size projects end-to-end: requirements, scheduling, on-site delivery.
- Support photographers/directors as a production assistant (AC): equipment prep, on-set support, footage handoff and archiving.
- Manage centralized shooting equipment (cameras, lenses, lighting, audio): check-in/check-out, basic maintenance, scheduling.
- Provide dotted-line support to Social Operations with content publishing schedules and private-domain lead tracking.
- Support Content Commerce with sales lead tracking and basic digital marketing tasks.
- Maintain organized archiving of raw footage and deliverables according to company standards.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years hands-on photography/videography experience; able to independently shoot photo and short-form video for portrait, product, and events. (Internship experience counts.)
- 1+ years experience in video production, photography assistance, or social content creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Marketing, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Practical operation and basic maintenance skills for camera, lighting, and audio gear.
- Familiarity with content publishing workflows on major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, Douyin).
- Fluency in English and Chinese; comfortable in cross-cultural environments.
- Ability to work on-site in El Segundo / Los Angeles, CA (daily presence required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive, robotics, or advanced-technology industries.
- Basic video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience with lead tracking / CRM tools or basic digital marketing exposure.
- Prior hands-on experience as a production assistant / AC.

Salary & Location
- Estimated pay: $63,948 per year (estimated).
- Location: On-site in El Segundo, California (90245). This role requires daily in-office presence.
