What You’ll Do

This entry-level Site Digital IT Manager role (2027 graduates) supports site-level IT/OT operations at a manufacturing or distribution site for a confidential client in the consumer goods & manufacturing sector. You will help ensure critical IT and OT applications and plant infrastructure run reliably, securely, and in compliance with policy — while driving continuous improvement and digital transformation at the site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the site digital technology lead to integrate digital solutions into the site’s digital master plan and align investments with business priorities.
  • Lead site projects and deployments that deliver measurable value, using ITIL and project-management best practices.
  • Support IT operations: incident management, problem management, and change management to maintain 24x7 site availability.
  • Support IT infrastructure activities including network operations and application management at the plant level.
  • Serve as the site cyber security leader: support threat identification, local incident response, and defense‑in‑depth controls for ICS/OT, networks, endpoints, and applications.
  • Collaborate across functions (manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and corporate IT) to implement scalable processes and drive digital operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement and act as a change agent for new technology adoption and operational readiness.

Qualifications

  • Graduating in Spring or Summer 2027 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in Manufacturing IT, industrial automation, or systems operations.
  • Familiarity with IT operations concepts: incident management, problem management, and organizational change.
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure: networking, application support, or systems administration.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity requirements and ability to support site-level security programs.
  • Strong leadership potential, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in an agile, startup-like environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across multiple stakeholders and functional areas.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Employment type: Full time
  • Starting pay / salary range: $85,000 - $122,200 per year (range provided by our client; actual pay depends on location, role, credentials, and experience)
  • This role is site-based at one of our client’s U.S. plant locations. Candidates should be open to working anywhere in the USA where the client operates a production or distribution site.
