What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Site Digital IT Manager to support IT and OT operations at a manufacturing or distribution site in Hansen Road, WI. You will be responsible for ensuring critical site applications and infrastructure run reliably, securely, and compliantly to support 24x7 manufacturing and logistics operations. This role blends technical delivery, process improvement, and stakeholder leadership.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day IT/OT site operations, ensuring uptime and resilience for production-critical systems.
  • Manage incident response, problem management, and recovery for site applications and infrastructure.
  • Act as the Site Digital Technology Leader: integrate digital technologies into the site digital plan, lead deployment projects, and drive operational excellence using ITIL and project management best practices.
  • Act as the Site Cyber Security Leader: implement and maintain site security controls, support threat identification and mitigation, and coordinate local incident response and risk assessments (including Industrial Control Systems and network/endpoint protections).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, supply chain, vendors) to prioritize digital investments and deliver measurable value.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives — standardize processes, document system configurations, and support change management.
  • Support application management and network operations; coordinate with corporate teams for upgrades, patches, and compliance activities.
  • Serve as a site change agent for technology adoption and workforce enablement (training, runbooks, SOPs).

Who You Are / Qualifications

You are a candidate graduating in Spring or Summer 2027 with technical training and a passion for manufacturing IT and cyber security. Typical qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (expected Spring/Summer 2027) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience or coursework in manufacturing technology, industrial control systems, or applied IT for production environments (internships or co-ops are relevant).
  • Familiarity with IT operations concepts: incident management, problem management, change management, and ITIL fundamentals.
  • Basic knowledge of networks, server/application administration, and endpoint management.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity principles and willingness to support site-level security programs.
  • Strong leadership potential, excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up style environment within a larger organization.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to manage vendor/partner relationships.
  • Willingness to work on-site at Hansen Road, WI; candidates should be open to future relocation/mobility for career development as required.

Notes:

  • This is an entry-level, full-time position that will include on-call and shift-support responsibilities as required by site operations.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Pay range (starting): $85,000.00 - $122,200.00 per year (range provided by the client; exact compensation depends on location, degree, skills, and experience).
  • Total rewards typically include base salary, potential bonus (if applicable), and benefits. Specific benefits and final offers will be shared by the recruiter during the hiring process.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time role supporting a 24x7 production environment; may include shift overlap, on-call duties, and occasional emergency response.
  • Work is primarily on-site at the Hansen Road, WI location; however, some travel or coordination with other sites and corporate teams may be required.
