What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Site Digital IT Managers to support site IT and OT operations at manufacturing and distribution locations. In this role you will be the primary site-level IT/OT leader for day-to-day operations, incident response, and project delivery — supporting always-on manufacturing systems while driving continuous improvement.
- Lead day-to-day IT and OT operations for a manufacturing or distribution site, ensuring critical applications and plant infrastructure remain secure, compliant, and highly available
- Support incident management, problem management, and organizational change to minimize downtime and restore service quickly
- Integrate digital technologies into the site digital master plan; align local projects with business priorities and measurable value
- Implement and operate scalable IT solutions for network, endpoints, applications, and industrial control systems (ICS)
- Execute local cybersecurity and risk activities: threat identification, defense-in-depth controls, vulnerability mitigation, and local incident response
- Coordinate cross-functional partners (operations, engineering, supply chain, vendors) to deploy solutions and sustain site performance
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of operational best practices (ITIL, project management, documentation, monitoring)
Who We’re Looking For
This entry-level role is targeted to soon-to-graduate students who can combine technical aptitude with leadership potential and strong communication skills.
- You are graduating in Spring or Summer 2027 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity or experience with manufacturing IT, industrial control systems, or operations technology
- Understanding of IT operations processes: incident management, change control, and problem management
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure fundamentals: networking, servers, application support, or system administration
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles and the ability to support site-level security programs
- Strong leadership potential, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-moving, startup‑like environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range (posted): $85,000 - $122,200 per year
- Total rewards typically include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits; specific package depends on location, role, credentials, and experience

Location & Work Authorization
- This position supports a physical plant site; candidates should be open to assignment at Confidential Client plant locations across the United States and must be willing to relocate or commute as required.
