Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Site Cybersecurity Leader to serve as the on-site authority for industrial and operational cybersecurity at a manufacturing, distribution, or mixing facility. This hands-on role leads site-level information security and cyber resilience efforts to prevent, detect, and respond to incidents that could impact production, packing, or shipping. The Site Cybersecurity Leader drives capability building, incident response, governance, and the site cybersecurity action plan in alignment with broader digital and security programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop, enroll, and execute the site cybersecurity action plan aligned to the site digital master plan.
- Build site cybersecurity capabilities and foster a visible, sustainable culture of security awareness unique to the site.
- Participate in the Site Cybersecurity Leader (CSL) Community of Practice to share and adopt best practices.
- Serve as the first point of contact for site information security incident response; initiate response processes and support the response team.
- Contribute to governance, risk, and compliance activities; act as the process leader for execution of the MAGICS IT Digital System Toolkit at the site.
Success Criteria
- Deliver and maintain a site security action plan that supports Zero Business Impact from information security incidents.
- Upskill site teams via exercises, campaigns, lunch & learns, and onboarding; use site-specific metrics to measure progress and report to leadership.
- Continuously improve site security solutions, systems, and processes through participation in CoPs and operational metrics, driving out losses.
Job Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience protecting Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Familiarity with the five critical controls identified by the SANS Institute and ability to explain them in a business context.
- Self-starter who can influence stakeholders and explain complex security concepts in business terms.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to digital ecosystem changes, and deliver results consistently.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Highland Park, TX.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information/Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
- Certifications such as GICSP and CISSP, or ability to obtain within 3 years.
- Strong understanding and practical implementation experience with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
- 2+ years hands-on experience implementing security controls for ICS/SCADA (preferred vendors: Rockwell/Allen Bradley).
- Prior experience in SOC analysis, security architecture/engineering, forensics, risk analysis, systems administration, NOC, or security development roles.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 - $122,200 per year (listed by our client).

Work Location & Schedule
- Onsite, full-time — must be able to work onsite five days per week in Highland Park, TX.
