What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for a Site Coordinator to lead and deliver the Next‑Gen Discovery STEM program at a U.S. military installation in Utah. You will be the local face of the program — running week‑long summer STEM camps for middle school students, coordinating hands‑on internships for high school and college students, and building partnerships across the local community and installation leadership.

  • Serve as the primary local point of contact between the installation and the Next‑Gen Discovery program management team.
  • Implement program curriculum, brand, and standards with consistency and professionalism.
  • Manage local program data, track student metrics, and maintain inventory of laptops, kits, and technology.
  • Secure camp locations and schedule week‑long summer STEM camps; recruit and onboard camp teachers and volunteers.
  • Coordinate site tours, museum visits, and recruit local military/civilian Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for demonstrations.
  • Attend and support camps daily to ensure student safety and positive learning outcomes (step in to lead activities when needed).
  • Recruit, match, and onboard high school and college interns with base mentors; coordinate base access and CAC/security processing.
  • Conduct regular welfare checks for interns and mentors and organize professional development events and final presentations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local school districts, teachers, parents, and community organizations to drive recruitment and awareness.
  • Manage local student application/review process using the program selection rubric and promote the program via local media and social channels.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project management, educational coordination, or a similar leadership role.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a favorable government trustworthiness determination (NACI / SF85) for base and network access.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to base leadership, school administrators, parents, and students.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using basic database/project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • Comfortable working with students ages 11+ and able to manage group dynamics and safety protocols.

Compensation & Location

  • Estimated salary: $59,854 per year (estimated).
  • Employment type: Full‑time.
  • Location: Utah (work performed locally at/near the installation; on‑site presence required for camps, onboarding, and internships).

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Primarily office and classroom work with regular in‑person event support.
  • Must be comfortable walking moderate distances (site/base tours) and occasionally lifting/moving boxes up to 35 lbs.
