What You’ll Do

This is a senior-level software engineering role supporting Confidential Client’s enterprise applications in a hybrid Westborough, MA environment (typically Tue–Thu onsite). You will design, build, and maintain scalable, cloud-native systems and mentor team members to deliver high-quality, production-ready software.

• Design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise applications and business solutions.
• Build proofs-of-concept and production digital products using modern languages and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Support and troubleshoot production systems; participate in incident response and postmortems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technology evaluations, and architectural discussions.
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years’ experience (or Master’s with 2+ years).
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, and/or Python developing web services and backend systems.
• 4+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure).
• 4+ years experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and Helm.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring MVC), Hibernate, and distributed application architectures.
• Strong version-control and collaboration experience (GitHub, Bitbucket) and modern SDLC practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with MuleSoft and/or Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis or other NoSQL technologies.
• Front-end experience with Angular, React, Ember, or Bootstrap is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-native application patterns.
• Prior experience mentoring engineers and driving technical design decisions.

Additional Details

• Employment type: Full-time.
• Location: Hybrid — Westborough, MA (onsite typically Tue–Thu).
• Visa & work authorization: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship now or in the future.
• This role is primarily office/home-based with minimal travel for standard business meetings.
