This role focuses on full‑stack development with an emphasis on ASP.NET Core APIs, Angular/TypeScript frontends, and SQL Server-backed data access. You will be a technical leader contributing to architecture, secure integrations, production reliability, and mentoring.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications, services, and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
  • Build and maintain integrations with downstream enterprise services, third-party APIs, and SQL Server databases.
  • Develop Angular + TypeScript web applications using component-driven patterns, routing, forms, and service-based API calls.
  • Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions across frontend, backend, data access, and integrations.
  • Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following best practices and established design patterns.
  • Implement resilient integration patterns (retries, timeouts, structured error handling) and secure authentication/authorization (OAuth/OIDC, JWT).
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, deployment readiness, and DevOps practices.
  • Improve production reliability with structured logging, correlation IDs, metrics, and distributed tracing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects, performance problems, and production incidents.
  • Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Document API contracts, technical designs, and operational runbooks.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 5+ years professional software engineering experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience building ASP.NET Core REST APIs and backend services.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript for building modern web UIs.
  • Solid SQL Server experience: schema design, T-SQL, performance tuning, and data access patterns.
  • Proven experience integrating services securely using OAuth/OIDC, JWT, and role/permission checks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD (build pipelines, automated testing, release automation).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for production systems (logging, tracing, metrics).
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across product, QA, and architecture teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with microservices patterns and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with distributed tracing tools and observability platforms.
  • Background in enterprise integrations (message queues, durable messaging).
  • Cloud experience (Azure, AWS) with platform services and managed databases.
  • Prior experience leading technical designs or mentoring engineering teams.

  • This position is based in Mayfield Heights, OH. Local candidates are preferred. Employment is with Confidential Client and will follow applicable state and federal employment laws.

Why Join
