What You’ll Do
You will join a cross-functional engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer, designing and delivering production-quality, AI-enabled software for a Confidential Client in the Software Development industry. This is a hands-on, technical leadership role: you’ll write and review code, drive architecture and cloud decisions, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, design, and client stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of full‑stack, production-ready systems (frontend, backend, data, and APIs).
- Make architecture decisions for scalable, secure systems — microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native designs.
- Build and maintain robust APIs (REST and GraphQL) with attention to performance, caching, and rate-limiting.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- Integrate AI capabilities safely into applications: apply evaluation, validation, and guardrails for LLMs and other models.
- Mentor and grow engineers; promote secure-development practices, testing, and performance optimization.
- Partner with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmaps.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years building full-stack applications with production experience delivering readable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Hands-on proficiency in at least two frameworks or languages from the stack (examples include JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Next.js, Vue.js, Java/Spring, C#, Node.js).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, REST and GraphQL APIs, and modern software design patterns (microservices, event-driven systems).
- Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and building CI/CD (Jenkins, Docker, CircleCI or similar).
- Demonstrated experience with security best practices (authentication flows such as OAuth/OIDC, secure coding, threat mitigation).
- Strong communication skills and track record of leading or mentoring engineering teams.
Preferred / High-Impact Skills
- Deep familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows, LLM evaluation frameworks, and production LLM safety/validation.
- Experience across multiple cloud providers and building IaC from scratch.
- Experience introducing observability, performance tuning, and site‑reliability practices in production systems.
- Prior experience with API gateways, throttling, caching strategies, and advanced deployment patterns.
Tools & Technologies (examples used on role)
- JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Java, Spring
