Contract Details

This is a 6‑month contractor opportunity based in Irvine, CA. The role requires onsite presence ~4 days per week (client site). Employment type: CONTRACTOR. Interviews will be conducted virtually.


What You’ll Do

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep Wealth Management domain expertise to lead advisor and client platform experiences at the intersection of product, technology, data, and AI. You will:

  • Own product vision, roadmap, and execution for Wealth Management platforms and advisor/client experiences.
  • Serve as a Wealth Management subject-matter expert across advisor workflows, households/accounts, UMA/SMAs, reporting, custodians, alternatives, and operations.
  • Translate business needs into PRDs, user stories, workflows, journey maps, and clear product specifications.
  • Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams on APIs, integrations, data models, workflow orchestration, and platform modernization efforts.
  • Drive AI adoption in product and delivery lifecycles, leveraging GenAI and AI-assisted tooling to improve delivery speed and quality.
  • Use data analysis and user insights (including SQL-based queries) to prioritize work, simplify workflows, and measure outcomes.
  • Adapt product and AI strategies across different client ecosystems and continuously evolve solutions as capabilities mature.
  • Communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders, managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, or related Product Management roles.
  • Deep experience with advisor platforms, client portals, custodians, onboarding, servicing, and wealth reporting ecosystems.
  • Proven track record delivering complex enterprise platforms in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data platforms, and cloud concepts (AWS preferred).
  • Practical experience applying GenAI / AI-enabled workflows within product, delivery, or operations teams.
  • Ability to operate across strategy, product, technology, data, and execution.
  • Excellent communication, structured thinking, and executive presence.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Outsourced Advisory Solutions (OAS), TAMPs, or platform-based wealth models.
  • Exposure to AI agents, workflow automation, BMAD/SpecKit-like frameworks, or AI-first delivery models.
  • Consulting or large-scale transformation experience.
  • Familiarity with modern WealthTech ecosystems and enterprise platform modernization initiatives.

  • Portfolio Management & Wealth Reporting domain knowledge
  • Advisor platforms and client portals
  • APIs & integrations, platform modernization
  • SQL — ability to write basic queries for analysis
  • Cloud concepts (AWS preferred)
  • GenAI and AI-assisted developer/product tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, VS Code tooling)
  • Agile / Scrum product delivery
