About the role
This is a hybrid Senior Data Analyst role based in New York, NY supporting a confidential client in the Advertising Services industry. The position focuses on advanced analytics, data quality, and applying machine learning/predictive methods to drive media and business outcomes. You will work alongside PhD-level data scientists, engineers, and analysts to deliver analyses, production-ready code, model monitoring, and client-facing insights.
Compensation: Base salary $90,000 - $110,000 (posted in compliance with pay transparency laws). This role is full-time and hybrid in New York City.
What You’ll Do
- Create and validate analyses using SQL, Python, and internal tools
- Plan project strategies and timelines with senior teammates
- Communicate technical results clearly internally and to clients
- Produce dashboards, reports, and presentation-ready deliverables
- Monitor and update machine learning models; improve related processes and tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and code quality issues
- Contribute to production analytics code, documentation, and reusable components
- Work cross-functionally to elevate analytics and measurement best practices
Who You Are
- BS/BA from an accredited college or university; STEM degrees preferred
- 2+ years experience in analytics, advertising, ad tech, media, or an advanced technical degree
- Based in the New York City area and able to work a hybrid schedule in NYC
- Regular experience with SQL and Python (or similar)
- Comfortable with exploratory analysis, statistics, and machine learning concepts
- Strong attention to data quality, verification, and reproducibility
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; client-facing experience a plus
- Experience with predictive analytics / ML, and data visualization tools (Looker, MCI, Tableau) is beneficial
- Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn new technical skills quickly
