Role overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Senior Associate, Product Manager to lead the Settlements domain for Trade Credit. This role is focused on defining strategy and driving execution to modernize transaction intake and settlement capabilities toward a modular, microservice-based architecture. You will work with engineering, design, data, and partner teams to scale transaction intake and support onboarding of large enterprise partners.


What you’ll do

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for the Settlements domain (transaction intake, data enrichment, and recording).
  • Break down business epics into features and user stories; write acceptance criteria and drive MVPs to validate hypotheses.
  • Prioritize the backlog with a strong focus on customer value and risk management.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to deliver technical, scalable solutions.
  • Use data and hypothesis-driven experiments to measure impact and inform product decisions.
  • Participate in horizontal forums to coordinate cross-team dependencies and influence architecture and platform direction.
  • Communicate roadmaps and outcomes to stakeholders, elevating product decisions and business results.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of product management experience OR at least 1 year in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
  • Comfortable working in agile teams and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong communicator who can distill complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • 1+ years translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products.
  • 1+ years working on core product platforms that power digital experiences.
  • 1+ years acting as a product owner within an agile development process.

Compensation & benefits (Chicago, IL)

Base salary range (Chicago, IL): $101,100 - $115,400 per year for Senior Associate, Product Management.

This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation (cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives). Benefits include health, financial, and other wellbeing programs; eligibility varies by employment status and level. The exact salary offered will be reflected in the offer letter.
