About the Team & Role
Confidential Client’s Commercial Banking Product Management team builds core product platforms and data capabilities that power digital experiences for bankers and commercial clients. This role focuses on Commercial Banking Data — partnering with engineering, design, analytics and business stakeholders to modernize backend platforms, reduce operational risk, and deliver scalable products that unlock value across lending, treasury, and capital markets workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver products and features that support strategy and operations for a top-tier commercial bank.
- Partner with engineering to decompose legacy systems and streamline ERP/backend dependencies.
- Define product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements for data and platform initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Design, Analytics, and Operations) to deliver shared outcomes.
- Build “always on” capabilities to increase profitability and empower associates.
- Strengthen operational controls and monitoring to reduce risk.
- Measure product outcomes and iterate using data and customer feedback.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in product management OR at least 1 year in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with engineering teams in an agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years translating business strategy into consumer- or client-facing digital products.
- 1+ years working on core product platforms powering digital experiences.
- Experience as a product owner within agile development teams.
Compensation & Benefits
The full-time annual salary range for candidates working in Richmond, VA for this role is $101,100 - $115,400. The role may also be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation (cash bonus and/or long-term incentives) and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual salary offered will be reflected in the candidate’s offer letter.
