Role Overview
We are partnering with a Confidential Client in Financial Services to hire a Senior Associate on the Product Management team supporting Card Acquisitions Decisioning. This individual contributor role partners across engineering, data science, design, and business stakeholders to deliver decisioning and acquisitions platform capabilities that enable exceptional customer experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the product owner for Acquisitions-as-a-Service features within the Decisioning Platform.
- Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and business partners to define acceptance criteria and prioritize MVPs for feature tests.
- Break down business epics into features and user stories, driving iterative delivery in an agile environment.
- Use hypothesis-driven, data-informed approaches to evaluate product ideas and measure impact against business outcomes.
- Own and prioritize roadmaps, manage risk, and ensure cross-team alignment for platform-level initiatives.
- Participate in horizontal forums to build trusted relationships and communicate product vision to stakeholders.
- Continuously research technology and architecture trends that can improve platform capabilities and customer outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in product management — OR at least 1 year in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
- 1+ years translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products.
- 1+ years working on core product platforms powering digital experiences.
- 1+ years serving as a product owner within an agile development process.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and operating in ambiguous situations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Location-specific base salary for Chicago, IL: $101,100 - $115,400 (annual).
- Eligible for performance-based incentive compensation (may include cash bonus and/or long-term incentives).
- Confidential Client offers a comprehensive benefits package (health, financial, and wellbeing benefits). Specific eligibility varies by employment status.
