What You’ll Do

You’ll join a global consultancy client as a hands-on Senior Associate Data Scientist, staying technical while taking greater ownership of projects. Expect to work across client engagements and internal initiatives across strategy, operations, and digital transformation. You will:

• Use Python and SQL to prepare, explore, and model complex datasets.
• Build statistical models and apply machine learning to ambiguous, high-impact problems.
• Translate technical analyses into clear, business-facing recommendations.
• Lead components of projects, collaborate directly with stakeholders, and help shape analytical approaches.
• Deliver reproducible code, documented analysis, and actionable insights for client teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction, cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis using Python and SQL.
• Develop and validate statistical models and machine learning solutions tuned for business outcomes.
• Communicate results and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders with clear visualizations and presentations.
• Own project workstreams, manage timelines for deliverables, and work with senior consultants to shape scope.
• Support multiple engagements—adapting methods to different business contexts and datasets.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field or relevant experience.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in ambiguous, client-facing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical findings to business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior consulting or professional services experience (client-facing delivery).
• Experience with model deployment, MLOps basics, or cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly, Tableau).
• Graduate degree or advanced coursework in statistics, machine learning, or related fields.

Compensation & Location

• Base salary: $100,000 per year (base).
• Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite or hybrid as determined by the confidential client).
• Note: Exact benefits, bonus structure, and total compensation will be provided by the confidential client during the hiring process.
