What You’ll Do

This confidential client is hiring a Security Coordinator (Industrial Security Analyst II) to manage day-to-day industrial security operations for a classified contract based in East Rockland Key, FL. You will implement and enforce National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements, manage classified material handling, run security briefings and training, and support personnel and physical security tasks to keep the program compliant and mission-ready.

  • Manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and Department of Navy security policy implementation for the onsite program, including document control, visitor control, personnel security, and physical security.
  • Interpret, prepare, and maintain prime and subcontract DD Form 254 and related classified-contract documentation.
  • Prepare, track, and monitor security QMS documents and ensure update timelines are met.
  • Produce weekly security status reports for the East Rockland Key Tactical Training Range.
  • Conduct security briefings, training, and debriefings; administer an ongoing security education program.
  • Receive, control, route, store, mark, package, mail, and destroy classified materials and associated records in compliance with NISPOM and internal procedures.
  • Investigate and report counterintelligence threats and security incidents through NCIS, DCSA, and the contract-required reporting channels.
  • Provide guidance to employees on reporting potential security breaches, completing security paperwork, and following COMSEC instructions.
  • Maintain security records per contract security manuals and work instructions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; OR 1 year relevant experience with a Master’s; OR High School diploma (or equivalent) with 7 years relevant experience.
  • Must currently hold and be able to maintain a DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI eligibility when required.
  • Strong working knowledge of personnel security, classified information systems, classified contract management, DD Form 254 preparation, physical security, insider threat programs, counterterrorism/counterintelligence, and administrative inquiry processes.
  • Proficiency with DISS (Defense Information System for Security).
  • Experience with COMSEC instructions and classified material handling procedures.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, leadership, interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of Facility Security Officer (FSO) coursework or equivalent training.
  • Prior experience supporting tactical range security or similar DoD contract environments.

Physical Requirements

Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate business machines. Minimal lifting may be required.


Compensation & Benefits

The employer-provided salary range for this role is an estimated $57,662.00 — $80,000.00 per year. Final offers reflect candidate experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
