What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Security and Derivatives Intermediate Associate Analyst to support securities and derivatives processing within their Agency Lending / Securities Services operations in Tampa, FL. This is an entry-level to intermediate operations role focused on accurate, timely trade processing and settlements.

• Support the Sec Finance Trading Desk with trade corrections, trade recalls, return processing, and contract compare
• Process and investigate clearance and settlement of client securities and derivatives transactions
• Provide cash investment support for money market funds, time deposits, repos, and mutual fund investment processing
• Produce and contribute to customized reporting used to present information to management
• Support implementation of securities processing improvements and operational changes
• Identify policy gaps and help formulate policies that streamline related workflows
• Develop and apply knowledge of securities processing practices and standards
• Provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to junior team members when required
• Apply sound judgment to assess and escalate risk, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policy

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in securities, derivatives, or related operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare clear reports and interact with trading desks and operations teams
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (Full-time): $62,620 — $87,380 per year (range provided by Confidential Client)
• In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards
