Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Security Administrator to support front-office security operations and security infrastructure administration in North Springfield, VA. This is an entry-level / administrative role focused on maintaining security systems, issuing corporate ID badges, processing access requests, and coordinating with internal teams (Security, Facilities, IT) and external vendors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational liaison between internal teams (Security, Facilities, IT) and external physical security vendors.
  • Manage and monitor systems that support physical security, including AMAG (badging/access control) and ExacqVision (CCTV).
  • Print corporate photo ID badges using MainBadge printing systems and maintain badge supply records.
  • Monitor and process badging and access requests mailbox for North and South America regions.
  • Provide routine system and ad-hoc reports (basic Excel skills required).
  • Execute Quarterly Lab Authorization Reports for NAR regions and email reports to Lab Managers/Owners.
  • Maintain and update the Global Lab Authorization Owners List in SharePoint; conduct annual reviews or updates after major org changes.
  • Complete access changes in AMAG as requested by Lab Owners.
  • Support alarm and incident response by reporting incidents and escalating to appropriate teams or authorities as required.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.
  • Comfort working with administrative security tools and ticketing or mailbox workflows.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and to lift up to 25 pounds when needed.
  • This is an administrative position — candidates are not expected to perform active physical security intervention; primary responsibilities are monitoring, reporting, and administrative control of access systems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated pay (provided by source): $68,986 per year (estimated). This is the good-faith estimate for the posted role; final pay may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and other lawful factors.
  • Benefits (eligible employees): medical, dental, vision insurance; HSA/FSA options; 401(k); life, disability & ADD insurance. Salaried personnel receive paid time off; hourly eligibility varies by role and applicable law.
